We are pleased to announce the constitution of the THINK TANK for Yamuna cleaning/revival. The first meeting for the THINK TANK has been scheduled for 24th July 2010 at PHD House, 2/4 Sri Instt. Area, 10:30 am -12:30pm.
The THINK TANK will be an amalgamation of all the Government agencies, project implementing partners, NGO’s and experts involved with Yamuna. We invite you to participate in the meeting and share your views and knowledge on the subject as a sensitized corporate keen to make a difference.
We envision the THINK TANK as a platform for
• Developing an understanding of the government efforts for cleaning/ reviving the Yamuna in the broader perspective of water and waste management
• Providing an update on the progress made on various projects and sharing challenges and reasons in case of delays specifically by the implementing agencies.
• Sharing success stories on water conservation
• Generating appropriate public awareness information
The THINK TANK for Yamuna would facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the all water issues in terms of management, conservation and waste reduction for the public at large and thereby a consciousness to preserve our scarce resource water and its source, our river Yamuna.
