The Sri Kriti Art Competition held on 22nd April’10 reached out to 5.5 Lakh school
children and more than 1500 government and public schools – a record of sorts!
MCD, NIE (Times Group) and UNICEF have partnered with The Art of Living in this
initiative.
The theme given was ‘Mere Swapno Ki Saaf Dilli’ or ‘My Clean Delhi Dream Delhi’.
WHAT`S NEXT
As the next step, we are planning a grand finale for the painting competition on
August 9th' 10.
You can participate by:

1.

Choosing and adopting a cleaning site (e.g. market, park, street, colony, etc) near
your school.

2.
|
Forming “Cleanliness Captains” from each section in class eight & above to be the
torch bearers for positive change in society.
|
|
3.
|
Captains will be given orientation session and then empowered by MCD and Art of
Living to check for undesirable garbage (e.g. colony garbage not picked up, littering
by shop/house etc).
